A platfrom for the
working class
-
Year over year, Hoosiers work harder and longer hours for the same stagnant wages and benefits. As your senator, I will fight the companies that have denied you the pay and benefits that you have earned.
Maternity and Paternity has been a luxury and not the right that it is for too long. Hard working parents deserve the peace of mind knowing they can have a good start to a healthy family.
As a union worker, I know what it feels like to have someone fighting in my corner, and at the state house I will fight for expanding worker protections, higher wages, and the right to unionize freely.
-
Every Hoosier deserves a roof over their head and one they can afford.
I will fight against corporations that purchase homes and apartment buildings and hit them with legislation that bans their predatory practices of pricing you out of purchasing a home and shaking you down for increasingly more rent.
Removing red tape and expediting approved housing construction to bring prices down and ensure no one goes homeless

For profit insurance companies and hospitals are doing more harm than good to our community. No one should have to pay a majority of their check just for a check-up.
Requiring employers to not only cover a majority of healthcare expenses for you, but also making sure that the insurance they provide handles all of your healthcare needs.
Most Hoosiers are one bad week away from having no savings or healthcare, no matter your circumstances you deserve a robust and reliable Medicaid that can help pick you up when life has pushed you down.
-
The economy isn’t broken, it is rigged to siphon money from working Hoosiers to the coffers of the ultra-wealthy and powerful. I intend to unrig this system and give you the fair shake you deserve.
Indiana’s corporate tax rate of 4.9% is lower than most other states in the nation, even our Midwest neighbors such as Michigan (6.0%), Illinois (9.5%), Wisconsin (7.9%), and even Kentucky (5.0%)! Raising the corporate tax to match that of our neighbors would bring in greater revenue back into our communities and towns.
Multi-billion Corporations shouldn’t get priority treatment over local small businesses that are the backbone of our community. Instead of giving tax breaks to these monopolies, we should be supporting a tax structure that invests in working Hoosiers and local businesses.

Every day myself and almost 3 million Hoosiers get up and get ready to leave their homes and head to work using our highways, roads, and railways. Such a vital part of our ability to provide for our families is traveling to and from work and those in power have constantly allowed the conditions of the infrastructure to worsen to the point of failure time and time again.
Too much money and time has been wasted on repaving and haphazardly patching the same streets over and over again, all while damaging the vehicles we can barely afford to maintain by letting potholes and safety hazards run amok. We will focus on doing the job with the right tools and the right equipment, the first time.
Despite being the richest country in the world, we have been denied the luxury and freedom to choose how we travel. To foster happy, healthy, and vibrant communities, everyone deserves to have access to safe, fast, and inexpensive public transit. I will support and fund passenger rail lines, clean and efficient buses, and bike paths that truly allow you to choose how you want to navigate the world.

Hoosiers have spoken and have been ignored. An overwhelming majority of us support legalizing marijuana for either medical or recreational use, so why haven’t those in power listened to our wants and needs?
Legalizing marijuana isn’t just providing more freedoms to those in Indiana, it also provides our great state with millions of dollars in tax revenue we are practically giving away to our neighbors.
Since 2020, Michigan has raised over 848 million dollars in tax revenue from the sale of recreational and medical marijuana. By not legalizing and taxing marijuana, we are failing our residents a by refusing to raise funds to better our education programs, local infrastructure, and community services.
